We have had a Zodiac Hurricane Proluxe 630 tender onboard Anastasia as our rescue tender and general work boat since 2008. It has proven to be a very sea worthy and reliable work horse which has done hundreds of hours with crew and guests.

Through Zodiacs representative we were able to semi customize the tender to our specific requirements and the result was a great success.

We have had a Zodiac Hurricane Proluxe 630 Diesel sterndrive on board since the Yacht was first built in 1998. The Owner liked it so much, he ordered another identical one in 2008. It’s a rugged and reliable tender that is heavily used for crew, guest beach landing & water sports. The first season we have purchase Zodiac Hurricane Proluxe 630 Diesel we managed to clock up 350hours with no problems.
We also have a limo type of tender but the Zodiac gets used much more. I would recommend Zodiac Hurricane products as the after sales service is good. We get spare parts sent to us from the factory wherever we are.

I purchased one of the first Zodiac Hurricane 6.7m SOLAS rescue boats for the 50m motoryacht Mosaique, a busy charter boat. It had to double as the owner’s tender as well as our mandatory MOB boat. I worked with the Hurricane factory thru their rep and was able to customize the boat to provide the yachts owner with the features that I know he wanted whilst keeping within the SOLAS type approval certificate.
It turned out well; plenty of comfortable seating for guests, a nice deep V hull for a soft and dry ride . The Zodiac looks great, is well built and I was impressed with its rugged construction.

We have had 3 Zodiac Hurricane highly customised tenders for M/Y Northern Star since she was launched in 2009. 2 are currently onboard; a 9m GRP diesel sterndrive and a 7m aluminium diesel waterjet.
They are solid and reliable tenders and work perfectly well in conjunction with our Hinckley to provide the Owner, Guests and crew a choice of platforms to support their busy schedules and activities. We often operate in remote areas of the Globe and depend heavily on our Hurricanes. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Zodiac developed an enclosed folding bimini for an Adventure Tender that is stored in the Yacht’s very low garage. The Owner’s brief was to have the persons occupying the 4 main (suspension) seats behind the steering console to be fully protected from the weather at all speeds.

Zodiac, working with a local subcontractor, was able to design and manufacture a polished stainless steel frame supporting a soft bimini cover that folded flat, along with a folding console and windshield. The 1700mm height constraint was a severe challenge but ultimely achieved.
